logitech z-5500? you can find one below 200 bux now The Logitech z-5500 is fantastic for the price. We have it setup contained by the family room so it take abuse from the dear little kids as economically. It doesn't have HDMI but it does hold optical/TOSLink.
Sony have done a good livelihood in incorporating HDMI within their newer component systems, because obviously they know what's up and know within is a need for optimum HD ports for adjectives of today's peripherals namely PS3. We have the Blu-Ray Disc Matching Home theater 5.1 next to the tower speakers. This goes for $500. They also enjoy the same system next to the smaller speakers at $400. They also have several Bravia theater sync systems as very well. All of these have 3 HDMI inputs and one output, so everything go through your sound system and consequently your sound system outputs to TV. These systems also enjoy optical and coax inputs as well if you touch the need to use those. These component systems do NOT enjoy a DVD player, but I suspect you probably don't want or need one beside the PS3 hooked up to it.
Research this source link from the Sonystyle.com store. Also if you don't mind signing up for a credit card, you can gain $100 off your first purchase. We did this to catch our system and no complaints from us.
BOSE!
Don't catch Bose. It Blose.
Anything by Klipsch will run circles around Bose for a lot smaller number money.

I really appriciate what Bose brings to the tabel and alot of nation bash them. But we all hold our opinions and Im not here to bash nothin. But i would recommend a Bose if ya get the money. If not there is an Onkyo 7.1 system that I have my Eyes on before i run into Bose here is the link to what I know is pretty flawless.

Only thing is that next to the Bose system you would have to buy a reciever and next to the Onkyo it is all near and you get 7 speakers so it is really up to you. I suggest you shift and hear them and some other to see what you like best.
