Home audio subwoofer box leak? When i watch movies at exceptionally loud volumes, during
When i watch movies at exceptionally loud volumes, during the parts that are low or loud(eg. a typical explosion) i can hear air escaping or leak out of my box. it's a 12" sub and shakes the house. As an audiophile, this minor problem makes my set-up a step support from perfection. I want to know what I should use to seal my box lacking having to break open it.(being that there aren't any screw to take the box apart. and gap it would result in the destruction of my current box). It is the most annoying reverberation and can ruin some of the most cinematic parts of a movie.

Can you get to the screw that hold the speaker in place? If so, later you can temporarily remove the speaker and use the hole for the speaker to get to the seam to seal them. I am assuming the box is form of wood so use a good wood gum on the seams.
Contact the businesswoman that seems defective, any obedient sub woofer you buy the company will help tremendously. If you enjoy a cheap sub you are on your own. From the description I'd guess you have a poor element speaker and it is showing. As far as I know you can't seal it minus opening it ... If you are that desperate, try transparent silicone, but it will probably look messy :-(
If you know where on earth the cracks are and they are small, use an injection needle jam-packed with superglue, permit dry, repeat if necessary ... (a friend in recent times gave me this tip, as he did this near his speakers) He also said to practise on something else first, as it is not easy and dries immensely fast and can block the hypodermic.
Hope it will work ...
EDIT: when I said cracks, I actually intended the seams...
