Do I enjoy to use an HDMI cable for merely HD? or can i use it to send Standard Deffinition

or can i use it to send Standard Deffinition to my HDtv
Answers:
Standard definition devices don't have HDMI ports. There are glorious definition devices (DVD upscalers and HD cable boxes) that can show both standard and high definition content, and they CAN transport standard definition signals to the TV.
if u want hd quality later hdmi is needed.

HDMI carries standard def video as powerfully as 720, 1080. I just saw "I Love Lucy" on my HD cable box - surrounded by standard def over HDMI.

It also carries 1.0 nouns (mono) and up to 7.1. you can use it for standard definition (sd) I assume your speaking of the nouns between your cable box and monitor?
