Can someone give me a detailed description on how i can hook up my 2 subs to my yamaha v661 reciever because when i do one singular works. there have to be different settings or something

Are they self powered?
How enjoy you tried to hook them up to find they dont work?
are you sure you have need of two anyway?? bass is no directional so it wouldn't matter something like a 'stereo effect'. Does your addressee have 2 sub-woofer outputs? If not, I used a Y connector on my Pioneer.Hooked it up to the sub-woofer pre-out and it works fine on both my floor standing speakers beside powered subs.
