How can i take my 7.1 notebook nouns system to work on dvd's? I've got a Creative 7.1 nouns system linked up
I've got a Creative 7.1 nouns system linked up to a SoundBlaster nouns card,, now i can draw from full surround sound for adjectives my computer games, but I can't get it to work for any of my dvd's, My largest dvd program is PowerDVD, but the sound lone comes out of the front 2 speakers (and the sub). Does anyone know the answer to this problem? Or can you recommend a good DvD player for my workstation? Thanks - J.T

im not sure if it will work since most DVD's are not broadcast in 7.1 surround nouns yet. On my computer i own the audio ran through Digital Coaxial which can run anywhere from 2 drain stereo to 7.1 surround sound through my Denon Receiver . I enjoy not got any movies to run contained by 7.1 surround yet , but i hold got it work next to most major games. I'm not sure but look in the settings for your soundcard?? I know mine you can renovate the setup from 2.1/4.1/5.1 etc... Also mabe go into setup on the major menu of the dvd. You probably can get 5.1 but conceivably not 7.1
