Samsung LCD & SKY + box picture problem.? I have a amazingly odd problem that I have
I have a amazingly odd problem that I have need of to diagnose.
I have a SKY+ box connected to my 32" Samsung LCD, intermittantly the pcture will disapear as if the AV signal have been lost.
I enjoy switched the connections so have tested the posibility of a SCART socket problem, I presume its not a loss of SKY signal as the eyeshade goes blank as if within is no input signal.
I thought it might have be the TV at fault perchance a capacitor disapating or something, however the fault also appears to crop up whilst recording. So on playback the breakdown also happens although the blind just go black rather than the blue on regular viewing.
Since the picture is not recorded from the TV but from the SKY Box I thought I'd found the problem, however I hold a video sender and conected it up recently the picture on the second TV does not come across to be effected by this quirk.
any ideas please it's driving me nutty.

Not an engineer I'm afraid, but if the picture is OK on the second TV, consequently to me it seems that the problem is near the Samsung TV....but as I said, I am no expert. Suppose your TV has free digiTV ?
If so unplug Sky adjectives together and see if the problem persist
also try watching a DVD and also see if problem persist ?
if it does,the the TV is at fault,except the Sky box is to blame.
