I can't seem to find anywhere the ohms of the amp or the speaker currently surrounded by the sub. I am looking for just a replacement sub, but I want to be capable of buy the correct ohms speaker.

If you are discussion about replacing the speaker driver with the sole purpose, you should be able to stick an ohm-meter across the terminal to determine its resistance.. PROVIDING.... that the voice coil itself is not burned open. Just bring in sure that you have the driver by itself and not still connected to the lead that feed from the amp. If it is powered it does'nt matter what ohm rating it is.
Just buy another Powered Sub and plug it within!
To just replace the speaker, the antediluvian speaker usually has a rating printed on it, but a better standard sub speaker is usually in the 4-6 ohm breadth, but there are 8 ohm speakers used contained by the cheaper models>they are just regular woofers labeled as sub-woofers!
The manufacturer web-site may have specs for that model.
