What will appear to the regular DVDs? Now that Blu Ray has emerge as the complete
Now that Blu Ray has emerge as the complete front runner in the HD -DVD vs Blu sunbeam, what is going to happen beside the regular DVDS?
Answers:
Can you spell "Beta"?
(Beta was Sony's entry into the video video market)
The same piece that happened to VHS?
powerfully, they're still going to be around, but chances are, they're going to be completely replaced.
still going to be around contained by that "cheap, bargain, etc" clause
Absolutley zilch. Yall jumping the gun here. Back up for a second and undo your eyes.
Yes, BluRay won the HD war but it did not bring down the price of HDTV sets. To relish HD, you need both HDTV and BluRay. Right presently, both can only be offered by those beside incomes that do not match the MAJORITY of this world. I own 2 HD sets but I know plenty of empire who don't own nor can afford just one. No studio is set to be that dumb and leave out the majority.
well in poor health still be buying them since their prices are falling quickly. but it will probably still be in motion strong as hd dvd and bluray players cost a buck!
impossible to tell apart it happen to the vcr
For the moment nothing much. It took DVD going on for 6 or 7 years to finally begin outselling VHS, but DVD will be harder to play the drums because people will enjoy to buy a HDTV as well as a blu-ray player. DVD's will still be made, but they will leisurely be phased out as time moves on. That's the way technology works, and I can't linger to see what happens subsequent.
I imagine they'll disappear slowly like video tape did. Movies will continue to be sold surrounded by both formats until Blue Ray players are cheap, everyone has HDTV and nobody requirements the DVDs anymore. You'll still be able to buy a DVD player for some time to come similar to you can still buy a VCR today... or the Blue Ray players will play them...
Yes, that's the expectation. The Blu-ray format has received broad support from the leading movie studios as a successor to today's DVD format. In fact, seven of the eight most important movie studios (Disney, Fox, Warner, Paramount, Sony, Lionsgate and MGM) have released titles within the Blu-ray format. Many studios have also announced that they will start releasing new portion films on Blu-ray Disc day-and-date with DVD, as in good health as a continuous slate of catalog titles every month.
However, the two formats (Blu-ray and DVD) will most likely co-exist for reasonably some time until HDTVs become more widespread.
you wont see much differance contained by the next year, but as soon as the Blu-Ray players come down surrounded by price to the point they are affordable to most consumers there will be no necessitate for DVD players anymore, but DVD's will still be produced for movies and shwos that do not benefit from HD. like someone else said above, DVD's can still be played within a Blu-Ray player so people do not stipulation to replace their entire collection like they have to do when VHS was replaced.
create radiation By the time regular DVD is replaced there will be a alien format to replace BluRay too. Electronics companies do not know when to quit, or at least slow down for awhile.
Cripes we hold 9.1 receivers out at hand....For what? They have be around for about 4 or 5 years immediately.
I for one will stick with Regular DVD till Bluray is contained by the 9.99 to 14.99 price range.
Wow what a downer, All the regular dvds I enjoy will they play in a blue stream machine, any body know ?
Good news is that most Blu-ray players are equiped to play adjectives DVD forms as well as Blu-ray so you won't enjoy to throw out your entire DVD collection like you did your 8 tracks. Some even play HD DVD as resourcefully.
