What is the difference between DVD and Blu-Ray?

Answers:
Blu Ray DVD players are giant definition units that display the HIGHEST resolution of any player out within....

The standard DVD player only does 480 lines of video , while the Blu Ray does 1080 Lines.
DVD is a standard definition disc, it can produce video up to 480p, and it have limited storage space when compared to blu-ray. Blu-ray have many more times the storage size and therefore it can hold movies in full High definition up to 1080p. Blu-ray discs can solely be played on blu-ray players. Blu-rays are only needed if you own a good hdtv, and they will look channel better than a standard dvd when viewed on an hdtv. There is a difference in the technology that allows Blu-Ray discs to hold more information on the same amount of space.

DVDs max out at 9GB of notes.

Blu-Ray discs max out at 50GB of data.

DVDs ARE adept of storing and playing High Definition video. The problem is that with 9GB of space they can't hold plenty data to put a unbroken movie on them.

Blu-Ray discs hold more data so they own space for movies and the surround sound that go with it.
