For those you of still own a VCR, do you ever rent video from the library?

I used to grasp videos from the library, but once I get a bad one and it messed up the VCR so I don't use the library video at all. Besides near Pay per View and Movies on Demand, what's the point? I can get movies lacking even leaving the house!
