I just get my home theatre set up, but wasn't home when it be installed. The tech guy set up the reciever with the speakers and subwoofer, but the TV wasn't hooked up on the other hand. He left one cable unhooked, but I can't bring it connected to the TV right. I've tried every plug in the fund of the TV and nothing! I attain the radio to play, but no sound from the TV. How do I carry that connected?

How do I connect external speakers to device that simply have a headphone output? Do I call for an inline amplifier?
I have an under-counter kitchen radio/cd player that I would close to to connect to external speakers, but the radio only have an output for headphones. I suspect that hooking speakers directly to the headphone output will not produce plenty power for the speakers, so I think I want some sort of inline amplifier between the headphone output and the speakers. Would that be the proper way to do this? If so, where on earth can I find a small inline amp for this purpose? I don't want to spend a lot of money on it, but I don't know where on earth to find a cheap amp. I'd like to find an amp that have a 1/8" input and speaker outputs, but that is expendable because I think an amp near RCA (red/white) inputs or speaker wire inputs would work. I could also probably convert RCA outputs or a 1/8" output to connect to the speakers, but simpler will be better. Please facilitate me out. Thanks.

Okay, so I've got a bunch of quicktime movies that I took next to my digital camera on my recent vacation. I loaded them onto my computer and next I burned them onto a blank dvd disk. I even selected "variety compatible" after I burned all the quicktime video on it. But the DVD player still says it can't read/play the disk. Is near something I'm doing wrong or is there a step I not here out? Any advice would sustain.

ok im really confused so this might not sound right, I hold an old dvd player (without HDMI plugs), a topical home theatre system (With HDMI) and a different plasma tv (HDMI). i tried connecting the home theate and the tv together with a HDMI cable thinking that nouns would be transmitted but it didnt work so i connected them with mature RCA cables. Im thinking the subsequent best thing is digital audio? the dvd player have a plug called coaxial (its a black socket approaching that of RCA) and a werid thing that sticks out thats call optical.
