I have a press. I have an Akai 27 inch next to component slots. I bought the component av cables for ps3 and hooked them within. It has 2 extra cable for sound as very well. I can now play 720p and 1080i. But, if I own all the wires (video and sound), will it be alike as an HDMI setting?

I am planning on buying a 26" Viewsonic Widescreen LCD 720P TV from Sam's Club. Already figured out that the satellite heir will hookup but need to numeral out if the PS3 and Wii will hook up with their HD Cables. I hold what I believe are HD Cables for the Wii, Pb, Pr or something like that and the HDMI cable that come with the PS3. However do not construe. You can get precise, I know my way around most tech but, for some grounds, I have vanished High Definition till last. I know composite is the Red Yellow and White cable. i have 2 question fist is, what is the difference between a coaxial digital plug and an optical connection, which one is better. my second quiz is I have a ps3 (full 7.1) and it uses a optical, or coaxial nouns. I already have my ps3 hooked up to the addressee, but the input it is connected to is the CD input, i notice some things when i am using the ps3 such as the little lights on the front of the reciever that say point like, Dolby Digital, or Cinema DSP are not turned on. These restrained are on for the DVD player, which also uses optical I was wondering if the nouns quality is reduced or changed surrounded by any way if it is connected to the compact disc input vs. a DVD or cable box input. the reason i am asking this instead of of late doing it is because it is a huge pain to turn around the beneficiary and change plugs and i will simply do it if i really need to... and the almanac is very difficult
Power 2 speakers from 1 output?
I have a beneficiary that has 100 watt max output per rut. Currently, all outputs except for 1 are person used. I have 2 small speakers that I want to power that are 50 watts max respectively. What would happen if I connected the two speakers to the 1 output on the heir? Also, the receiver allows you to adjust the volume of respectively speaker so if needed I can turn down the volume to just those two speakers. Any concept or input? Thanks

Just purchased a Mitsubishi DLP Rear Projection TV (Model Number: 65833-65). Do I really need anything bar a quality surge protector? I hold been told that I necessitate a Power Conditioner that will produce a Pure Filtered Sine Wave, and in one instance, they hold also recommended a UPS system. So, I am now wondering if I can seize away with something that have AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation). This seems resembling overkill to me, but, I would like to protect the investment. Pre-wire give support to....what are the green and white wires for?
We are trying to install our surround sound speakers and are confused give or take a few the cords that are coming out of the wall...intended to connect to the receiver. There are 2 black/red cable and 3 cables that hold red/black/green/white. There is also one that has nearly 6 little cables of adjectives different colors (pink, etc) How do we tell which flex is for what speaker and what are the green and white cords for?
Problem near a DVD player not retrieving my wallet?
Okay so this is a really ironic question and one i.e. typical of the craziness in my vivacity. I bought a Panasonic DVD player at the start of 2003 I've had issues next to it before presently like skipping bits on Star Wars and Frasier and presently, well immediately the frikkin thing have swallowed disc 1 of X-Files Season 9 inside the drawer and is tormenting me with the following packages: F498. Have any of you had similar issues near a DVD player messing you about resembling this or is this literally an X-File (yeah my contacts are gonna luv this one) but seriously is there anyway to seize this working normally resetting it somehow or am I gonna hold to take the item apart to get my dvd out? I have be thinking about putting together a system where on earth my Xbox 360 runs off a projector and i own just just this minute got a surround nouns system too. So i was thinking if i could connect both of them to Projector and what would i necessitate to do it? Also what should the projector have within specs for it to work?

I have a Sharp XG-P20EU projector. I hold plenty of life moved out on my lamp, but i know some daylight it will die though. So, in trying to plan ahead, i'm researching for a up to date lamp. I inevitability a 220W UHP lamp. Now, I know lamp are expensive, but every lamp I can find costs more than I salaried for the entire projector. Can I only use a 220W uhp storm lantern made by sharp, or is there a cheaper oil lamp I could use?
