We have a Zenith 25" TV explicitly about 6 or 7 We can run it thru the DVD, but when we try to use the tv on it also, it won't work. There isn't anything on the TV to turn stale the onboard speaker, just to adjust from mono to stereo. I know we can't be the solitary people contained by this world who have analog tvs who enjoy bought surround sound. Is in attendance a way to know how to run surround sound for the the tv and the dvd? Maybe some considerate of adapter? Do we need an adapter to transmutation to digital? Help!!

It has a green power street lamp indicating it gets power. It is contained by excellent shape otherwise. When the rca plugs are removed from the receiver it is plugged into, the green desk light turns to red after a few minutes. I have also found that if i a short time ago plug in an rca jack to it, the desk light will turn from red to green (and stay on for several minutes)
How do I troubleshoot the humming nouns explicitly coming from my strange home theater speakers?
I bought a new home theater system which includes a Sony TV, Pioneer HDMI heir & Klipsch speakers. I am detecting a humming sound from the speakers. The nouns is consistent & doesn't change as volume is increased or decrease. The humming sound will dance away if the receiver is muted or if I unplug my TV and desktop from the receiver. Let's formulate an assumption that the humming isn't caused by my speaker wires or electrical cords from my devices. If this problem is due to imcompatibilty devices such as my Pioneer beneficiary or desktop or old electric wiring in my house, how can I troubleshoot this problem. I own never had any problems next to my desktop speakers when I connect it to the desktop. Will the humming go away if I try another beneficiary or buy speakers that have its own power source. Or will it jump away if I plug the receiver into a seperate power source from other devices. If I enjoy to fix the electrical wiring, how do I pin point the source & how much will it cost to fix.
