Overwhelmed by home theater option?
Ok. So, I recently settled to get a spanking new place. When I do, I want to buy all latest stuff for my living room. However, I haven't bought any of this stuff in so long I enjoy no idea what I'm doing. Here's what I want: a 50 inch or larger tube, surround sound speakers, a DVD player, and sattellite radio. My confusion starts right rotten the bat. I don't know if a plasma or LCD is the best type of television (all I vigilance about is the best possible picture). I don't know what speakers are best. I own found several speakers systems that either come next to a receiver or a DVD player, but at that point I don't know if I am better rotten buying everything seperate to get a better set of speakers, beneficiary, and DVD player. In terms of DVD players, which is the best, HD or Blu Ray? Are near any specific reccomendations. I am finding cables are vital as well. Ay thoughts? So far I hold read a lot on CNET, but general public complain about everything no concern what. I need lend a hand

my s35 dvd player is not playing any sound. i enjoy connected the white/red/yellow cables from the dvd player to TV and the dvd is running fine but no nouns. is there another cable I want to add?

Portable dvd player woes?
Aight, so I got a Venturer 8-inch portable DVD player going on for a year ago. Been great, played great and all, but have recently started making horrible noise and the "play" button works only when it feel like it. I call Venturer earlier and they told me I'd enjoy to send it contained by along with $20 to fix it. Because I'm a college student, I own virtually no money or time to send this entity off, and when I do buy something, I want soaring quality. Since you can in a minute find DVD players for roughly 50 bucks now, my quiz is would it be better if I just get it fixed or bought a new one? (if so, would you please reccomend one to me) Thanks!!
Portable DVD Players??
Has anybody every bought a Audiovox 9" portable DVD player? I am looking in to purchasing a portable DVD player for my son so he can stay colonized while on a trip. I found a good deal for audiovox 9" but I am not sure how the standard is. So if anybody knows anything just about these or which would be a better portable dvd player that I can attach to the headrest please let me know! Thanks
