Hi guys, I'm trying to decide how to enhance my mac pro. I own a playstation 3 and also love gaming. A PS3 had an hdmi port which i use next to my tv. Should i get an apple 30" display to draw from the best resolution wtih an hdmi to dvi converted connector or should i get an hdmi box? Also, i want to buy a set of sony home theatre speakers beside wireless rear speakers, would i know how to connect them to my mac? Thank you in anticipation of you replies! Andy

HDMI cross-question concerning output devices...?
So I bought a HDTV that has simply 1 HDMI input. My cable boxtop, DVD player, and PS3 all hold HDMI outputs. What should I do since I want to use the HDMI for all of my trimmings? Is it possible or will I have to use the component cable for 2 of the 3?
HDMI from DVD to TV kaput?
I have a Philips DVP5960 and Samsung LE37R87BDX box, both are new. SCART from DVD Player to TV works fine. HDMI does not wok at adjectives. On both devices, the HDMI setting in the config menus re grayed out, which suggests respectively does not think HDMI signals are present. (1) Is at hand a max length of HDMI cables? I am trying a 3m one but do not own a shorter one to try. (2) Is there one and only one type of HDMI, or is it possible that I'm using incompatible versions or something? thx

Okay I have a 40" Plasma Sony Tv. I bought an HDMI cable for my PS3 and everything works out pretty flawless since I set it up. Well, I don't have internet so I usually turn to my friends house to update my PS3 but he only have a regular TV. Well, I plugged in everything at his house and adjectives I get is the blue peak. (Ya' member the blue eyeshade from the VCR settings.) I change the passageway and that's all I acquire. I plug in the HDMI cable stern into the PS3 back at my home and everything works. What's wrong and how do I clutch off that blind so I can get a picture rotten a regular TV? Do I have to repeat the settings or what? HELP !
Hdmi nouns and video?
im looking to buy a lcd full hd 1920x1200 pc moniter to play a ps3 as powerfully as use it as a computer screen. the problem i s i dont chew over my moniter has speakers or its own speaker ports. and im not sure if hdmi cables(best picture quality) produce nouns aswell? does it?? because, unless a ps3 has its own speaker ports how am i supposed to acquire the audio on the lcd moniter with out speakers? appreciation p.s: i have asked this ask many times and im getting heaps yes's it can prduce audio and no's only picture. SOME ONE ANSWER, NOT GUUESS!! thankfulness

I am about to purchase a DVD home arena system. The SONY DAV-DZ151KB is affordable. but it has no output for HDMI ,,,, will it put together any quality difference if I play everyday DVD's and not blu ray or HD DVD....i reside surrounded by India so i shud forget about the fresh HD content.. by the way point will be high If i connect it next to A COMPONENT CABLE right? thank you

-Relatively new 60 inch pioneer TV. -HDMI picture is working fantastic. -Audio is not working at adjectives and I have the ps3 nouns settings hooked up to the HDMI option. Please serve me what I can do (or even what I can buy) to get nouns for my ps3.

Is there an HDMI to RCA cable/converter out in attendance I can buy? My laptop is brand new and have an HDMI out port, but my TV only have the yellow, blue and red RCA cable input. I want to use my laptop to play DVDs and keep watch on the DVDs on my television. Is nearby a way to do this? Thanks!
