Are tower speakers better?
I have 2 JBL e80 tower speakers. I purely got the definitive procinema 1000 series. Should i preserve the e80s or switch them out for the procinema 1000 monitors? Does the fact that the tower is so much bigger trademark it a better speaker?

Are watts for underpinning, or how much electricty the system take up?
I just get this surround sound system for my room and its is 3000 watts thats alot right? What are watts? for the full system or, or is it how loud the speakers get, or how much bass nearby is or what? THANKS!

This was not a laser disk but the travel case kinda looked like a laser disk. It be a big thin close to box that had the tapein it that you would "plug in" to the player and it would play it these where on earth about the size of laser disks. I remember I have Chitty Chitty bang blow, and The wizard of oz with an eccentric color Yellow brick road...

At the most...I own $500. to spend on a blue shaft of light disk player. What would you recommend?

Audio for HDTV?
I want to improve the nouns on my HDTV but do not want any kind of fancy surround system. I enjoy a red and white jack saying "audio out." Can I hook low price speakers directly to them. Do speakers come next to the red and white cables? If so where on earth do I find them, if not what do you do?

I have a ps3 and Onkyo beneficiary and it doesn't support audio with HDMI. Is near a way to go and get true HD LPCM 7.1 sound by hooking it up another approach besides HDMI to receiver for video and Optical for audio?

Hello, This is how I have my system connected right very soon. Direct tv Hd Dvr to the HDTv (Hdmi to tv with seperate audio out to the tv) 2 Ch. reciever to the tv non Hd Dvd player to the TV. I basically bought the Onkyo Tx-sr 650 & the Jbl 5.1 Surround sound system and I own to hook all this stuff up to my HDTV while the mature system is being moved to the bedroom. New Hook up: Single Hdmi cable from Directv HD Dvr to Hdmi 1 contained by, on the back of the reciever ( No Audio out to the tv needed anymore, right?) Non Hdmi Dvd player cable out to the final of the reciever (Dvd or video 1 input) One single Hdmi cable from the Hdmi out of the reciever to the Hdmi input 1 of the tv Basically one single HDMI cable from the back of the reciever to the rear of the tv as the HDMI cable will carry both audio and video.right? To the best of my supportive, Directv box sends audio and video to the reciever and then the reciver transport it to the 5 speakers. right? Please Help. confused
