I have a reasonably new JVC surround nouns system that is on the fritz. The manager unit will work fine, the problem is within the sub-woofer/amp. When I turn the system on, the amp/sub turns on for a second or so and turns off. I checked adjectives the fuses and such, but all looks fine. Does anyone enjoy any ideas what I can do to fix it except shipping it off for service? The amp weigh a ton, so shipping and repair would cost as much as a new system. Thanks!
Keep my CRT?
I have a 30-inch Philips CRT HDTV, widescreen, manufactured contained by 2004, and it has component and HDMI connections. I get it used, for cheap. It looks great, but I'm sort of itching to "upgrade" to something else used and relatively cheap. My understanding, though, is that CRT, especially the description I have, is still competitively honest compared to the LCD, plasma and projection HDTVs that generally cost more. All I really do is monitor DVDs. I don't watch tube. Am I wise to hold what I have?
KEF IQ7 booming effect?
i'm interested in buying KEF IQ7 speakers, my room size is 11 ft * 16 ft and doubt whether they nouns well within my room. coz i went thru one of a review finding that IQ7 make a booming effect for that room size. Is that true? any Kef users pls help me....

Hello, currently I have a PS3 which I use primarily for my Blu-Ray movies. I'd also resembling however to browse the internet freely - I really don't like the PS3 internet system. Is at hand any other devices with Blu Ray but have a better Web Browser system? Thanks
LCD fan: 71F vs 650 Series?
So I got to see my 71f subsequent to the 650, and while I think the 650 includes some nice clean features like better backlight control.. I deliberate 71f still gives best tap for buck. (No I have not see the 81f) :[ What do YOU consider?
LCD Projection TV problem?
My Hitachi 50 inch lcd projection tv has a pallid circle in the middle of the eyeshade. Kind of like a cloud of pale. I still have warranty on this tv and am wondering what is wrong and what the estimated price of parts and labor to fix it is. If the cost to fix it is expensive, later we will get a up to date tv as replacement. Is my tv dying? I'm kinda hoping it is so I can get a fresh one.

my tv has a HDMI and S-VIDEO i am are these better than the red,white and wan connectors i think they are call RCA cables.. My cable box have the s-video i am thinking this will give mw a better picture will it? also my dvd player have a HDMI will this give me a better picture on my tv??

I have a 2 year antiquated LG LRA-760 DVD recorder and recently it won't read the DVDs we put into it. What is wrong? We own burned a lot of DVDs surrounded by the past so could it be that the laser have worn out? Help!

What should I look for in purchasnig a reviever that will work for PS3 audio via-HDMI cable.I am wanting to draw from true uncompressed 7.1 audio out of my PS3.I was sold a pioneer vsx-1017txv-k beneath the assumption that this unit be very cappiable of doing this.When I get it home and played around trying to get audio out of my HDMI inputs well-educated it was NOT going to do this.Any suggestions as what to grasp when I return this unit on monday??(budget (at)$800)
Logitech X540 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers blowing nouns out front?
So randomly my X540's started blowing puffs of nouns out the front of the bass...whenever theres and explosion in a winter sport or a big blast of bass in some music some nouns poofs out the hole in the front...is something wrong beside the bass? Thanks
