I was looking for a sub for a 15x15 room. Im sure 10" is the suitable size for this room but the 12" variation of the same sub is merely 40$ more. would I get deeper bass from the 12" or would that be to big for the room ? gratefulness

i have a powerd sub that desires an rca input but its on the other side of the room from the reciever so is it possible to run a coax to a lowvoltage outlet back to rca? ive see the adapters online. if it is possible does it matter wich coax i use?

Hi guys. i just bought an altec 2.1 speaker system for my workstation. but the problem is that the sub woofer isn't working on my pc while it worked without blemish at the shop.The sound comes lone from the 2 speakers but no output from the woofer. I have a cmi9761 ac97 audio card. Is the soundcard cause the problem? Please help!

I have a JBL subwoofer contained by my livingroom for my surround sound system. I focus this subwoofer is possessed! When their is no signal from the receiver (power is off) the standby street lamp on top of the subwoofer turns red. When I turn on the addressee, and it receives a signal, the lighting turns green. Well, over the past month, I'll interest that the subwoofer light turns green when the heir is off and I'm not watching tv. Then the pale will turn back to red when it feel like it. Otherwise, the subwoofer works when we're watching tv, or a DVD movie. What would create the subwoofer to turn on, when my receiver is turned bad? (The subwoofer turns on every morning around this time, and then sometimes more throughout the day) Weird!
Subwoofer Silent??
I have newly purchased a Yamaha HRT-6080 stereo receiver to replace an matured Sony. I have my sub plugged into the sub (pre-amp out) on the heir and the in on the sub (both via RCA Sub cable) even so nothing plays. If I hold the RCA basically right on the sub it does get feedback and hum. Would you articulate that this is a cable that needs to be replaced or is near a sub ON/OFF setting with this addressee that is not explained within the manual? Any serve will be appreciated.

Sunfire MK II Hums on input signal. Hum can be canceled repeatedly by switching on or off lights contained by room. Problem is consistent. Sometimes a small electric shock can be felt at a wishy-washy switch. Is this a grounding problem? How important is a proper ground?

So I have a 6.1 ditch surround sound I'm really flawless with surround sounds and only have a simple interrogate. I think I am over thinking and thats why I can't amount it out. So any ways lets catch to the question. I enjoy two rear speakers and and I be wondering how to make the flipside speakers come in at positive parts of the movie. Like for example you are watching a scary movie and I want it to be more alarming How do I make it so it will be loud when the music comes contained by and the scary noise like the pounding sounds and when they are discussion make it reasonably again do I have to mess beside the db which stand for deisbles do I have to set the put a bet on speakers to like 5dbs and the front speaker to 8 or 9 dbs and the subwoofer at 10dbs but Not mostly speaking of the sub just speaking just about more intense sounds at the scary parts of the movie and when they are chitchat make it usual or something like more slightly. So How do I do that I already had someone make clear to me how to do it but just want some mre opions
