Hello! I know I am going to sound resembling a fool asking this but I just bought an Onkyo AV heir for my home theatre. I hooked up my front speakers and in that is an option to set the front speakers at anywhere from -12db to +12db. What does this anticipate and which would make the nouns louder/better?? Thanks!

What does it penny-pinching by pressurizing a room near a subwoofer?
It's a term widely use by society reviewing subwoofers, what does it actually be going to to pressurize a room? I have a 10" sub (Velodyne SPL-1000R) beforehand that play very loud surrounded by a room with a total cubic displacement of more or less 3500cubic feet, which I'm within a way under-sub, as a 10" driver is never plenty for a room of that size. but yet it's producing bass that can be have a feeling. Now I've a 12" sub (Which I'm still under-sub, as for a room of that size I would need a 15" and above to "pressurize" a room, "it's physics", they says) It's still producing bass that i can surface. So what does pressurizing a room means? To be capable of feel the bass? but i've use a 10" sub and still competent to feel the bass although logically it's not competent to pressurize the room. How does it actually perceive to have the room pressurized while watching movie? Or does it medium the bass felt would be much different when the room is pressurized? Or my room is already pressurized since I'm competent to feel the bass contained by movies?

What exactly is the "stop mode" when referring to a home the stage system?
Most of the directions say..."From the stop mode, enter into"....blah blah....This may nouns like a silly sound out but for some reason I am not sure if this is really a "mode" or if it is something else simple that I am overlooking :-) I dont see it nominated as a mode anywhere in any of the menus or on the remote for my home acting system.
