Not if you have simply one phone #. You will get a busy signal.
If you want to give the name from extension to extension inside the house you need a small internal phone system and the electrical system has to be "home run" substance each extension's electrical system must be run all the mode to a central location.
An alternative is a KSU smaller number phone system; each paw set plugs into the phone line and a power flash. Each has to be programmed near its own extension.

turn panasonic tho if you choose to do this.. uniden and vtech are just expensive paperweights.. no!! not anymore....surrounded by the old days when we have all analog phone, next yes, but now we adjectives have switched to digital...so you cont do that anymore, unless you get a feature call "direct-link" from Uniden you can call any other extension contained by your house up to 6-10 if you choose to get a Uniden or Panasonic Dect 6.0!!
