I have lately bought panasonic KX-TG6052B answering machine next to cordless phone from US. There is no "View CID" option displayed above the soft key, However the option "Phone Book" is displayed above the one of the soft key.

I have sightseer ID facility enabled with my service provider. The hoary beetel instrument used to display the caller self information.

Can anybody throw some light on what could be the problem?

did you turn on the CID on the softkeys?


you can do it only on the Main (Base) phone.Menu>>>Global Setup>>>CID....subsequent to the day&time...
