No not a daft examine in the slightest!

The Amstrad phone have a modem but in, that could be set to find e-mail messages, the default be once per day, but could be set to ever 4 hours, 2 hours, or 10 minutes!.

Now you enjoy unplugged the handset, the modem have also been disconnected, so you will not see these call on your bill anymore.

You do not need to contact anyone else, you own done all that's needed.

Hope this help?
If you had a procedure to connect to system contained by the first place you will have to contact to cessation system. I suggest you phone them for clarification.
We have an Amstrad phone so understand what you be going to.
We unplugged it, went and get an ordinary phone and no further feat was indispensable.
Had no more bills re the Amstrad.
No ,you're not daft chuck.
no you are not daft just play risk-free and put your mind at ease and contact amstrad lol
no
I think, nearby is a need to contact the customer keeping department of the company, and seek a resolution number, on cell phone ... or some "similar procedure," followed in your country.
No, you're not daft!

We had matching phone but got annoyed beside all the advert popping up and also the dialling for emails which seemed to be occurring more than once a day.

Now that you enjoy plugged in an universal phone/answerphone, you should have no further problems as it be only the Amstrad phone dialling for emails, this will not surface with an widespread phone/answerphone.
NOPE'' I see what you mean - is in that a way you can check online to ee if your sketch is being debit for this daily telephone ?

However, as the phone is not plugged in, I don't see how you can be charged for the name - suggest you inform BT, or whoever your phone provider is, that you no longer have this phone. Maybe you could even pole the number ? That way you could prove that the call were not made by you.

You could also write to Amstrad (proper epistle, not email or phone call) informing them that their phone is disconnected. For things like this, antiquated fashioned letters are more significant in my assessment
