Keep getting prank call? I get a telephone call this morning by someone
I get a telephone call this morning by someone asking for some bank details. I said jump away hang up, I hear laughing on the phone, they ring again and I hang up again, after the phone rings a third time.
What can I do I'm in the UK

Sign up with TPS (Telephone Preference Service) it will stop any marketing call to you! I joined 3 years ago and the with the sole purpose people ever on the cease of my phone are people who I cheerfully give my number too!
You with BT?? Give them a ring and ask to procure your number changed and explain why, Its free
The TPS wont relieve as the person have your number - phone your telephone supplier and return with a lock put on your phone so people cant procure through if they withhold the number.
Have you tried dialling 1471. If you enjoy no luck report the calls to your landline provider. Its Technically fraud and they are grateful to do something about it. Someone could grasp into alot of trouble over this. I think its classed as obtain personnal details by deception and carry a high cost Answer the phone and say-so, can you hang on a minute, I'll simply get my hill details then go them hanging on the phone, they're paying for the call upon!
Or get tourist ID and don't answer any calls from that number or any withheld numbers
Or go and get a whistle and blow it down the phone the next time they bid
Or tell them to eff bad

well if you enjoy caller psyche.. u could report them? if u don't... n it keeps scheduled.. guess u might want to think around changing your number..
Similar article happened to me at close to 2am in the morning previously but it stopped after awhile. Now I return with calls from china... personage speaking in manadarin.. i purely pretend not to understand n they endow with up..
Alternately... u could start screaming at them in a foreign jargon if u happen to know any... u will any scare the crap out of them or back up making their day if they are calling only to get a criticism...

You Could Phone Back By Dialling 147 Then Dial The Number Which Was Phoning You Then Talk To Them And Say Who You Are But The Huge Thing About Dialling 147 Is That Your Number Will Not Go To The Person Your Phoning

And then play it whenever the prank sightseer rings and then they'll suggest it's the wrong number or it has be disconnected!
Or put it on your answering machine, that would be hysterical :P
