Someone called repeatedly after 11 p.m. concluding night and said nought. Just hung up. Our caller ID said "Private." I done up taking the phone off the hook out of frustration. Is at hand any way I can BLOCK these call from now on? Thanks.

I would christen your service provider. If it's a landline I think it's possible for everyone to. I enjoy Optimum Voice and theres an option to do it yourself online short having to ring, but I don't know if your phone service provider does that, so I would call.
christen your provider. I have comcast and I own it blocked and it was really assured. I know verizon does it also. Just call and narrate them you do not want calls coming surrounded by from blocked numbers or unknown numbers. That will also make telemarketing call go down... If its a landline, check beside your phone service provider. Ive called population before and blocked my number and I received a message dictum "This user does not accept anonymous calls" or something of that moral fibre.
