506-787-9986 I have be receiving harrassing phone call from this number. There are also strange messages on my answering machine. The tourist said specifically not to call the police or he will come over to my house and hunt me down.

It is usually free of charge to do this. I would speak you should contact the police and see - is this area code close by you ?.. If it isnt I wouldnt be too worried about these call.
