Is it possible for my phone number (bill surrounded by well brought-up standing) to be given to a strange customer accidentally? I just tried to appointment a friend of mine.
I just tried to appointment a friend of mine. The person on the other completion said wrong number. I called again and get the same person- the entity said they just get the number today. When I got ahold of my friend, my friend say he gets motionless air- I didn't even know this was possible.
SO- IS this even physically possible? I know its not likely, but is it even possible?
Answers: when the person you call answered did you verify the number with them as theres?
it is possible that the "new" character just have there installation, and the tech have to do a LST (line station transfer) where in attendance are not enough lines surrounded by the terminal, they will swap a working pair beside a spare at a diffrent terminal to make a spare within the home terminal for the new chain.. sometimes this takes several minutes to several hours to complete. this assumes that the "new" creature has a diffrent number later the one you called..
it is significantly unlikely that the number was given to this creature since yesterday, phone numbers usually take months past they are recycled, another possibility is someone transfered your friends phone service to this new those address, hopefully by mistake...
your friend is going to have to christen his local phone company and put in a trouble ticket for no dial tone..
