lb267 Disconnection broadband/phone charge from BT? Has anyone else had similar problems? do you own

Has anyone else had similar problems? do you own any advise?
Answers:
I rang up surrounded by January & asked to be disconnected but I was told my contract completed in May & they charged me something similair so after working it out I established it would be cheaper to carry on paying for the service even though I'm not using it anymore
That's what you owe for the service they provided you near, advice is pay cheque what you owe.
I haven't come accross this, but if you signed a contract with BT, they may very well be able to bill you for the remaining contractual months, if you stop early. I push for you to read the full contract clauses on the document you signed.
If you are moving, you can embezzle your service with you minus paying any extra..leastways that's what they told me...
they are the biggest con artist i know, we got screwed on installation an next to engineer charging callout and they sent the wrong equiptment which i salaried for and the engineer said they will evolution it for the correct stuff and when the correct stuff came the scheme fee charged again for him to right to be heard our equiptment couldnt connect to broadband this was two weeks after paying for queue rental and broadband we couldn't use i can't wait for my contract to run out within 3 months and get beside a better provider!
they should not be charging this much to disconnect your phone unless you had a contract which you are trying to break ahead of time than the contracted time.

It only cost us lb125 to return with it connected Just for disconnection, convey them to whistle for it, they only hold to insert a small blank fuse in the primary distribution frame takes almost 2 seconds (ex BT engineer) stewpot is right if your contract has'nt run out
