depending on how long you left it contained by the water, you can still capture your phone to work. its has come to pass to me and others i know plenty of time. first try to shake ALL of the water out. the best you can. next let it dry. you can use a blow dryer, which works okay. you dont have to verbs bout breaking the phone, just dont apply grill to the screen. but the keypads, and where on earth the battery go, blow dry the hell out of it. dont hook it up to the charger either. not unitl its works.... if hope you sign up for damage insurance....

depends how doomed to failure it is x Don't attempt to turn it on until completely dried.

To fix it;

Remove the battery, sympathetic the compartment, cabinet, or cover to expose the electrical parts. Dry all parts below the sun or use a hair blower.

Re assemble the part after drying completely.

If the power is off when dropped surrounded by the water, here is a chance it will work again after drying it.
