Phone won't work after have digital? I had a handset service through my cable provider
I had a handset service through my cable provider which was digital phone service. I cancelled the portrayal and established an account beside a telco and now own a POTS line. I hold a dial tone at my box, and the line be plugged into the box, but I don't have a dial tone inside my house. I don't enjoy the box they gave me plugged surrounded by or any other phone line plugged into the jacks inside. What could be the problem? Perhaps possibly the NID has be disconnected from the inside?

when the cable phone service was connected to your inside electrics the tech did what he was supposed to and disconnected your inside electrical system going to the NID either at the NID (like he should have) or somewhere inside..
the simplest method to find out would be to get a tone generator and verbs, and sent tone from your inside wiring to your NID...
or you can trial and error at the NID next to the wires that are disconnected..
just connect the electrics back to the terminal at the customer side of the NID
clutch all the wires and hook it up your self. it is unproblematic. green to green and red to red, or white to green and blue to red. unplug the test jack first. here will be more wires there don't use them. you have need of only what is nominated above.
E that right!! you have answered your own query....call the phone company and own them switch it back!
