All right, I just get vonage. They sent me the box to connect to my router and phone. There's the problem - my phone is in the kitchen, my router is within my room. I hooked the phone up in the room and it's working, but I don't plan on keeping it in attendance (I want it in the kitchen).
Is nearby some kind of "bluetooth" (not necessarily made by bluetooth, but you win the concept) phone line, where on earth I can put one end on the vonage jack within the room and the other on my phone in the kitchen? Or any other solution. Please Help!

thats the cheapest... You should know how to just use a standard "cordless" phone. That is what I do. I enjoy my Panasonic 5.8 GHz cordless phone base-unit plugged into my VoIP box. Then, remote cordless add-ons in other rooms of the house. Most cordless phones immediately days come with 2-4 extra phones for use contained by various locations around the house.
Best bet presently days is to get the investigational DECT 6 (1.9 GHz) cordless phones, instead of the older 2.4 or 5.8 GHz phones.
if you have existing phone electrical system in your home, you can of late connect your vonage box to a phone jack, and the vonage dial tone will go to adjectives the jacks in the house... you should disconnect the cable from the NID going to the outside telephone electrical system... (if you have DSL this is not as straight forward, contact me and I can step you thru that process.. )
you can get an expandable DECT receiver with multiple handsets, hang on to the main remnant by your router/vonage box and put the expansion handsets anywhere in the home that you own electric power for the charging stations..
or.... you can get a wireless Ethernet bridge (assuming that you hold wifi, and are not interested in running phone wires) and connect it to your vonage box surrounded by the kitchen.

(this is just one example of a wireless Ethernet bridge, in that are others available)
the last alternative would be to run a phone jack from the vonage device to where you want the phone to work.. if you own a crawl space or attic, you can pretty much conceal the wire run completely beside ease...
There isnt a cheaper or better type, what you are talking nearly is a new technology.
Yes, Vonage never give you ALL the details.
