Help me fix my phone? Hi. It's a house phone with multiple recievers
Hi. It's a house phone with multiple recievers that be working just fine. Now you can turn it on and go and get a dial tone. But you can't dial any numbers on it. All the buttons work but it just doesn't dial through to obtain it to ring. Then the machine comes on and say either "If you'd close to to make a bid...." or "Welcome to AT&T...." . We have another phone contained by the house with 2 recievers to be exact working just fine. What go wrong and how do you fix it? Thanks in mortgage
Answers: If you are getting dial tone but can't break dial tone it could be a number of different problems. Most potential your dial pad is defective. On elder phones the dial pads could procure dirty or were polarity sensitive and if the handset line be reversed you couldn't break dial tone.
