Caller said"Hello, Hello can you hear me, can you hear me". Then hung up? I just have someone call my phone and right
I just have someone call my phone and right to be heard the above and then suspend up. The line be bad. I tried ringing the number hindmost but the number is not in use. It's a 0207 number. Anyone else have this happen?

don't verbs about it. sometimes someone will ring up me and I hear them breathing and I say hello hello and after they hang up. they may of dialed the wrong number or it be someone being stupid. since you call your dad, then it be nothing big

You don't know the number so try not to worry. Sounds close to the Verizon guy to me. "Can you hear me now"
I have hear of a scam where they grasp you to say yes. It is a record call and they can apply that answer yes to what ever they are selling. You shutting up signed up for some "trial period" that you're not even aware of and if you don't call up and annul it you end up beside it hitting your phone bill as a small fee month after month. Like Insurance on your phone for one.
Be alert about a simple yes answer near telemarketers.
The most common interrogate is "is this Mrs...."
Most people read out yes, I say "who's asking?"
Then I simply say "No, thank you to what ever you're representing" and droop up.
Just check your phone bill over closely when you get it contained by.
I hold had that since...many times. The phone rings, I influence 'hello' and then the other pause hangs up. I am ex-directory but I still attain such calls.
I should not verbs about it. But if you are worried give or take a few your dad, maybe you can christen him and find out if he is OK.
I also tend to ignore withheld numbers on my mobile.

That is a nouns. You know your dad is fine, which is great :-) So I would not worry more or less the phone call.

There's no sucvh thing as an 0207 number. It's 020. 7 is the germ of the number, not part of the code.
A phone nouns can fail objective one party can't hear the other.
But have said that, if you don't recognise the number, don't call pay for. They'll ring again if it's important.
Maybe there phone is out of commission properly, I wouldnt worry something like it and maybe its a number that doesnt adopt incoming calls (certain businesses and hospitals for instance).
