I have this problem. My cordless phone make a weird clicking nouns when I dial someone. Now, this is the second phone I buy and I tossed the old one because the clicking nouns didn't let me dial extensions, for instance. I dial 7-digit phone number and it will bring like a minute clicking formerly it finally makes the christen (and it takes forever when I dial an 800 number). Now my unsullied phone that I bought like two months ago is doing equal noise. Does anyone know why this happen? Is the phone broken? The phone I have is within good conditions and I don't want to throw it away! Please support! Thanks, in credit.

it sounds like your phone smudge is being tap. There are 2 settings the phone can use to "contact" the exchange when you dial a number. The best and most modern is DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Function) which sends a series of "beeps" for each number you press on the phone. The other is Loop Disconnect calling which sends a series of "clicks" for respectively number you press. You can change this setting on desk phones by finances of a button located on the side or underside of the phone. On modern cordless phones, you can change this by entering the menu and looking for something approaching " Dialling Method". Some phones have a code which you enter to conveyance it, but you will need to read the instruction book to check this.
