Static on phone lands line--anyway to repair it myself?
I've had static on my phone dash since last week. Looked up the SNI outside the house, tested it, no static when I plugged contained by my phone in it. So I know static comes from my side (not the phone co.). Disconnected adjectives the phones, filters and DSL, plugged surrounded by a phone to each of the jacks, and get static on all the lines. Is near any way I could diagnose and fix it myself since I am broke?? Please give support to! Not only that, but near is absolutely no cell reception contained by my house (not sure why)-- so it feels similar to I'm cut off from everyone...
Switch from comcast to fios?
I am considering switching from Comcast (cable + internet) + Vonage to Verizon FIOS Triple Play. I am considering doing this for the speed boost, and to keep my costs competitive near a bundled savings plan. My interview is: if I start the switching process, what chance is in attendance that Comcast will attempt to keep me? Will they try, and does anyone own any current data on what they use as incentives? I might be prepared to stay, but I would like to capture an idea of what they might proposition before I trademark my decision.
Switched from Cable to BT, immediately 2nd Landline won't ring?
Hi, recently switched from Virginmedia cable phone to BT. First landline (primary box), dial tone, incoming and outgoing fine, rings a treat. Second landline - extension box, dial tone, incoming and outgoing fine - but will not ring. Someone have suggested that it may be because the extension is 4 wire not six as the BT manufacture had to rewire the first box. Any planning or is it a rewire job for the second box (haven't tried phone two on the chief connection nonetheless BTW). Thanks.

I am looking for a good level. I have a taylor digital extent and hate it! It weigh me anywhere from 143 to 150 every time i get on it. Can any one bring up to date me about the dial extent as opposed to the digital? HELP

My telephone exchange have a maximum broadband speed of 5mb. Is there anybody I can email to complain and ask them to update the exchange so I bring back faster broadband speeds?
Telephone Issues!?
My phone was working fine yesterday, but when i go to make a phone phone up today i didn't get a dial tone. I tried my phone upstairs and I still didn't gain a dial tone. Yet I have DSL and I am competent to use it. I tested my line outside and it showed that the problem be INSIDE the house. Any ideas of what it could be or how to fix it?
