How do one find out if a line is bugged? Can any individual bugg a string or is it just Govt piece?
Phone file - broken!!?
While doing the house up I accidently, cut the telephone smudge at the front of the house!! The line between the telegraph pole and the house! I know require a handset in the house - how do I draw from some one to come out and mend the line!! I telephone a normal phone vein engineer but he said he couldn't touch that column because it was the strip from the pole to the house - he said I need to stir to BT. However, after trying a few times I can't get through to anyone. I tried to e-mail - I can't find one! Anybody know how I can contact a BT machinate directly and not having to jump through BT phone service!!? Any help greatly appreciated!
Phone number rings apartment buzzer? why?
A couple of months ago we were switching phone companies and phone numbers... so we looked-for to check if our new # worked... so we call from the cell phone to the new phone number (in duplicate room we were checking it) and it ring some guys apartment unit buzzer... we hung up and tried a couple more times... the guy said he lived within an apartment building a block or two away. if distance has anything to do near it... we carried the convo on like it be phone to phone... weird... does anybody know why this happen? Also it got fixed inside an hour.

Phone won't work after have digital?
I had a handset service through my cable provider which was digital phone service. I cancelled the portrayal and established an account beside a telco and now own a POTS line. I hold a dial tone at my box, and the line be plugged into the box, but I don't have a dial tone inside my house. I don't enjoy the box they gave me plugged surrounded by or any other phone line plugged into the jacks inside. What could be the problem? Perhaps possibly the NID has be disconnected from the inside?

I have be getting A LOT of harassing telephone call and this last one front to a very upsetting scene. I got a phone phone up around 5:00 pm today from a girl - when I answered she said "Listen here you fu**ing dirty who*e I am sick and tired of your bullshi* so you better watch the fu** out beforehand I take you out!" while this be going on I was within shock and didn't say a word.I briskly hung up the phone and called the police, they said if it happen again to call them support and they will trace the call it be probably just a obnoxious prank..well I have been getting unsettled night dangle ups for about 2 weeks - I gone to the store to pick up a few things for dinner and when I came home someone have spray painted my front door "fuc*ing Bit*h" - I was so horrified, that I call the police over and they took my statement and took pictures of the door..no later than 10 minutes after the police departed I got a hail as again from "unavailable" when I answered they called me a snitch bit*h and hung up

Problem near virgin medium billing?
Hi, Has anyone got any sensible thinking for me, i have be with Virgin since they took over Telewest and be with Telewest for ages in the past that with no problems. In July second year i took out the V+ box that was added to my services and i enjoy had zilch but problems. Everymonth my bill says one amount and when i phone to pay it i am told a different amount so i am no longer paying by direct debit. I enjoy spent 3 hours on phone in olden 2 days trying to get someone to explain why the difference surrounded by bills and no one can i enjoy been fobbed sour by everyone including a manager. How can i manufacture a complaint and take this further if the staff within callcentre wont help me. All i want is for the bill to be correct i dont discern that is unreasonable request.
