Comcast internet, phone and cable?
just wondering if anyone have the phone service that concast offers? we hold at&t, but my husband wants to own everything bundled into one bill each month and wishes to sign up for the comcast digital voice phone. if you have the phone service, is it perfect? can you use an answering machine beside it? (i know they have that stupid voice correspondence option, but we hold cell phones with voice mail, and perfer an answering machine near our home phone), and do you get a regular phone number or is it some 800#? appreciation.

Dial up , proxy conflict?
hi i have bellsouth dial up i've contacted bellsouth several times on this issue but so far zilch that they have have me to try has worked i've already changed my phone lines ( adjectives of them ) even from the phone box to the jacks , i've replaced the jacks in the house too my nouns keeps have a proxy conflict and i can't figure it out while i'm connected i lose my nouns every 5 mins i have it set up to block my phone up waiting but i don't know how to set it up to turn off my voicemail i can uncheck the bypass proxy tab but it keep getting the check back into the box by itself and i can't amount that out it shows under my accelarator statue that my internet connection and my accelarator have conflicts please help how do i correctly , manually set up my internet nouns??

Direct TV Phone Jack Question.?
I'm trying to order WWE No Way Out and it say Check phone line to allow order, I called and ask them nearly it and they said i must have a phone jack to directive the ppv, but yet a couple months ago i ordered UFC and I didnt call for a phone connection. Also my friend direct last months Royal Rumble and he also enjoy the option to instruct this ppv and guess what? he has no phone jack connected. Can some one please explain this because the customer service guys by a hair`s breadth speak english.
Dirty phone call comfort!!?
My mum who is a pensioner and lives alone has be receiving phone call in the middle of the darkness from a man who says disgusting things to her. She is really startled and just unplugs her phone. When my little girl stayed at her nans lately, the phone woke her up in the darkness and before my mum could obtain to it my five year old have already answered it. She heard the most disgusting things and i'm severely angry. Will the police do anything to trace this piece of **** or will she just be advise to change her number. (which she doesn't want to do) please help out.
Do cordless manor column phones "call" 911 when mobile go unpromising?
I have a cordless ground line phone that's seven years aged. I got a bid from the 911 dispatcher wanting to know if all be okay at my house. I was bewildered since I be just sitting at my computer and I don't hold the usual suspects living in my house...ie, small kids. My parkland line is mostly a fax file and turned off when not contained by use and the other phone hangs on the wall, so the cats wouldn't be walking on it. Years ago I hear about cordless phones "calling" 911 when their battery were going discouraging. Wonder if this is still the case. I've put within a repair call to the phone company because the estate line have lots of static on it too. Any phone company repair experts out there who can shed some desk light on this "phone-y" problem? Thanks!

I told the att rep I do not have phone service,I lone have internet vonage phone service which is voip, and she still said it would work....how is this possible?I imagine she doesn't know what she was discussion about.She said as long as one of the phone jacks works, it would be fine.Theres one point if it works,and another if it's actually connected.They are not connected.
