Whatever happen to mini disks?
Answers:
Everything is any digital or downloadable, before you know drinks will be downloadable along beside food.
everything go digital before they have a chance to rob off.... i go straight from slimline walkman(tapes) to mp3 players
i know!! i spent a fortune on a music system with a mini disk player on it wen it first come out n never used it
yeah i know when i got one they purely disappeared MiniDiscs are still available for some applications, (but not nearly as many anymore). I loved MDs they sounded great and they be some of the first optical discs to support text for song titles. If you ask me, the music bazaar has their thumbs up their butts when it comes to formats but the allowed demise of MD is attributed to the high cost and poor availability of standard pre-recorded media. For digital recordings they are still far more reorganized and more durable then CDs.
we picked up two players and 50+ disks from our local freecycle group!
they are great - hubby uses them adjectives the time.
The Mini-disk never caught on because of the price and availability of products.
After mp3's took stale they weren't as handy any more. I still use for recording live shows on experience. They sound fantastic near a stereo mic!
mp3 made them obsolete.
shame really. i be a real hanger-on of the mini disc. i refused to step to mp3 i hate them....mini disc be ace. maybe we should bring them put a bet on? only function i had to stop be cause mines broke..i've get countless disc's tho of music still lying about. man.....i call for to get on ebay!
There wasnt enough room within those discs ! They srill have them sometimes.
They got taken over by digital.
She married Mickey Mouse ??!!
And... and... at first she was thinking in the order of her name self shown as Mini Disks Mouse, until she saw how it looked on her bank checks.
Simply really desperate timing. Mp3's rule.
