For me, Roberts, We live in a remote area,
some signals we can get, but needs outside
aerial for all, but take it away to other
areas,it works just fine.
Don't bother you wont notice the difference , stick to FM (no static at all)
Most traders consider the Pure Evoke to be the best value for money. However, now Gcap has abandoned the digital market you may be better to get Sky or Freeview and run radio through your telly.
i like my Pure Evoke-1 but there are loads on the market now
I wouldn't bother, the takeup has been so poor that some broadcasters are packing in supplying a DAB service altogether. They're expensive and if you're not in a strong signal area they're rubbish too.
ive got a pure one, and a roberts personal. they are both excellent. i can get 12 radio stations on both. the roberts personal cost around ¡ê100. i use it at work but it doesnt like the building that im in and i have to move it around to get good reception. i would recommend a dab to anyone. ive got a 3rd one upstairs and ive forgotten the make but it is also excellent.
www.digitalradionow.com has a massive list of receivers. As with most things, the better radios tend to cost a bit more. PURE have established themselves as a quality producer, but Roberts, Sony, and other big brands produce equally as excellent radios. The digitalradionow.com website also has a postcode checker; put your postcode in and it will show you what DAB Digital Radio services you can receive. Most people get between twice and three times more radio stations. (Shortly after GCap Media announced some withdrawal from DAB, the company was acquired by Global Radio, who have cancelled some of those withdrawal plans). I have a Pure Evoke 2. It has excellent reception, a nice tone and pumps out the volume. They're not as cheap as some, but I think mine was worth the money.
