Why hasn't an electric guitar get a "warning" on it?...? saying "THIS GUITAR MUST BE USED WITH AN AMPLIFIER!"...and
saying "THIS GUITAR MUST BE USED WITH AN AMPLIFIER!"...and not plugged directly into the D!...a friend of mine removed the jack plug from a guitar lead and be trying to fit a mains plug!...adage it came next to the wrong plug?...oops!...

Well, yeah. That's kind of a 'duh'.
Same reason why retail stores don't own "it's slippery" signs out in the parking lot when it's raining.
