8 GB ipod nano and 80 GB classic ipod,,, same price? Why in the world are they equal price when

Why in the world are they equal price when there is such a big memory difference? i know the nano is smaller but I still ,,,don't twig.
Answers:
Depends how much you want to store.

I only needed 4 GB, so nano be my obvious choice =/ Plus it's much cooler =D
big difference, big price difference
Are they really indistinguishable price? As far as I know the 80GB is more.
apple resembling the moola!!

inhabitants like the nano better
Classic ipod is in the deteriorating stage in it's product life span cycle. Since no one is buying it anymore, Apple are trying to trade name it attractive by making it 80gb so people will buy it.
Because people are dumb plenty to purchase whats "cool"....
I have the 80 see and its great because I have 67 gigs of music. Its bigger but not that much. Because it's buisiness. The nano probably costs less to fabrication BUT it's smaller so they'd much rather market it for an elevated price, where as you also hold the classic, while although it has alot more space, it's bigger. Also there's the reality that the nano runs on Flash memory, the 80GB runs on a hard drive, so the classic is more prone to corruption, etc.
What? The iPod Nano is $40 less after the ipod classic. It is a big difference. They are not the same price. But to be precise kind of stupid to hold almost the same price. People would only get the Classic. but inhabitants want the nano because they don't want to be carrying a huge classic.
alot more those want the nano cus think it looks cooler and it fits more places
Yeah, it doesn't manufacture sense, but Apple wants money so they want little girls who wishes a cute little music player to pay like amount of money as a hardcore music collector like my brother.
those i pods are merely marketing gimmicks ... receive a i pod touch or just look for a better mp3 or mp4 player ... resembling from creative or sony etc ...
It depends what is meaningful for you:
If you care give or take a few how many songs you can put on your iPod, later get the 80 GB iPod classic. It holds 10 times more music than the 8GB iPod nano. If you charge more about size, next you should get th 8 GB nano since it is closely smaller and lighter than the 80 GB iPod classic.

The choice is yours :)
I wonder that too sometimes. But the point is that the 80GB is that price because of the memory and the features ( video ) and obviously because of everything they used to engineer it. But the Nano is the same price because it is smaller. What I'm trying to voice is the smaller the particles (everything that's inside) the more the price go up. That's why when you go take your computer fixed if it is a laptop it cost more than the desktop. So they are the same price because of the features both of them own and because the Nanos particles size.
