You can purchase a USB sync cable from anywhere these days, essentially anywhere that'll sell an iPod. Belkin and other 3rd group manufactures get rid of USB sync cables typically for a fraction of the price of the official Apple ones.
One make a note of though, if you have a FireWire (800) port, you might want to purchase a FireWire cable instead of USB, it offer quicker transfer of adjectives your content. Although not all computers enjoy FireWire, mostly Mac's have them, although new-ish Windows PC's own them too. I'm sure that if you go anywhere that sell iPod, (e.g Walmart, Zellers, or the Apple Store) They'll diffenatly sell them, since adjectives iPods use the same cords. Just simply ask them.
