Okay so I want to save my allowance to catch my FIRST ipod should I just grasp the 2ed generation ipod first so I cant take used to an ipod cause I enjoy a regular MP3 player

iPod Classic is a great choice for your money.
ok the ipod touch is hands down the best b/c you can do lots of things beside it. u can hack it too easily(and it wont get messed up) also u can can turn it into an iphone(well sorta) you will own to buy a 45 dollar speaker though but it is really cool b/c u can use wifi to call population.
