Your going to Fiji? ouch. !
Try hitting it a couple times.
hold down the menu button and the center button at the same time hold it down untill you see the apple logo .... that mechanism that it has restarted
GOOD LUCK !
this should work if it doesnt touch free to contact me!
Hold down center and menu at the same time for a bit. It should turn sour on its own.
Otherwise, let the mobile run out.. which might be hard for you since you obligation to charge it? I guess charge it overnight.
i have no theory but i always enjoy trouble with mine and its duplicate kind of ipod as urs, i reflect there lately old...but everytime i plug it into the comp. it freezes up and i cant put any songs on it and its strange and it just get stuck like that for a long time but idk...enjoy fun in fiji....sounds resembling a funn trip!
turn hold on afterwards off later hold center button and menu for like 8 secons itll shut bad.
it maybe stuck, bear it to apple store they will help you no cost
i was going to vote let it die.
if its solely a one gig.
walk to walmart and get a one GB mp3 player til the battery-operated in the ipod dies til you can charge it up & start from mark
1 GB mp3 players are pretty cheap & some are compatbale w/ itunes.
all i can give attention to of Yeah, first gen Nanos do that sometimes and in attendance (unfortunately) is nothing you can do in the order of it. The same thing have happened to me more than a few times. I hold tried restarting it, resetting it, pushing the pause button, toggling the hold switch, plugging it within, and just more or less anything else you could possibly think of. Nothing works.
Basically adjectives you can do is wait patiently for it to start working again, and it should inwardly a day or so. Often draining it of battery will speed up the process, so i usually turn the screen standard lamp on all the time whenever mine did that. But yeah, nought you can really do, sorry.
ps if it does that for more than 2 days, call Apple support if you still own the warranty.
Let it die and they recharge it, I have a second contemporaries nano and my mom an 80gb, we just consent to them die and then charge them.
take a gun to it. (hammers work too) progress 2 itunes and hit restore, then resync works every time. or u cud try the first piece.
That happens to me adjectives the time. If you hold down the menu button and the center button at the same time until the apple comes up on the peak it should like reset it and next let you turn it bad. Good Luck

hold and unhold ur ipod
press menu & middle button for about 5-10 second
first of all a moment ago let the freestyle die. Then all you enjoy to do is turn it on again once it's been charged or you could only hold the menu button down for a couple seconds and it will restart the ipod(the uncomplicated way)
p.s. if the menu/restart thingy doesn't work then, i would newly let it die, after charge it then turn it hindmost on.
hold the center button and the Menu button down for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, jiggle the hold switch and try again. Still packed up? Check the ipod support site.
