Hello. I am really head strong on getting a 80GB Zune for my birthday upcomming contained by April.. I heard you could verbs movies from your DVR to your Zune. This is one of the reasons why I want to grasp a Zune, I am a big time movie watcher. (Gotta love the movies.) I be asking if this is true.. and how do you actualy get a movie from your TV's DVR to your 80GB Zune? And do I hold to buy anything/any programs to get this to work?

Answers: It depends on the DVR. Replay TV's are great at this. Tivo Series 2 are sort of designed around it (but it's not perfect). And Tivo Series 1 are very hackable. Any DVR's that can burn DVD's are great near DVD ripping software. With most other DVR's (including cable and satellite boxes), you have to buy a video occupation card for your pc and connect your DVR to your PC similar to you would hook it to your TV. Then you play the shows on your DVR and record them near your PC. The ultimate solution would be if your PC become your movie source, transferring the programming from to your DVR or portable media player on emergency.
Basically, the movie studios don't want people copying their content freely to adjectives their devices because they'd have the potential to share them with their friends, who could study without paying. It sucks for you and me though.
