y is it that when i have music on my library i delete it the n when i put my sync cord surrounded by it deletes my zune songs within it i put it on manual but it delete it still?
Answers: Because as you have found out the rock-hard way Zune requests to have the files surrounded by the folders it monitors for music. Even if you set it up to let you choose your own music it will still delete the music. It does like thing for pictures.
My suggestion: back up the music files to an external drive or preserve them on your hard drive. If you ever hold to reformat your Zune or erase the content and resync it you will be glad the have the files back up somewhere. I had erase the content and resync my Zune when it started freezing up. I be so glad I still had the files.
