My Ipod Nano did the same item for the longest time, but then it suddenly stopped. So I don`t know go to apple.com and look up the FAQ. Resetting and restoring are two different things! I would suggest resetting it first, if that doesn't work, after restore it. Hopefully that'll help you.
Resetting:
- Turn the Hold button (at the top) on, later turn it off.
- Press the Menu and circle button at matching time for 10 to 15 seconds (hold it down for awhile).
- The Apple logo should come up for just about 20 seconds, next it'll go put a bet on to your menu page.
Restoring:
- Plug in the iPod and get underway iTunes.
- Make sure you're on the iPod Options page (click the iPod icon underneath Devices when it pops up).
- Choose Restore.
- It will begin the restorating process. When it's done, make tracks it plugged in and nearly 20 seconds latter it'll ask what you want to name the iPod, etc.
NOTE: Yes, if you restore it, later all of the music/vids/pics/etc. are erased past its sell-by date the iPod. However, they should still be in your iTunes library! So as soon as you sync it fund up, then it'll adjectives go posterior onto the iPod and it will be as good as exotic!
