MP3. They are a smaller format and pocket up less room. M4A is even better. WAV files are cd quality but coarse files which have huge database sizes. MP3's are compressed and when they're around 160-192 bits they sound pretty perfect.
WMA's are Windows Media format and usually have one and the same sound aspect as MP3's but are compressed using a different format which is usually a smaller file size than the MP3.
