I have a sound out. If I jailbreak my iPod touch with ZiPhone, will a restore remove the jailbreak and can I later get fund all of my stuff the channel it used to be like my January Software Upgrade?
Answers: If you want to jailbreak your ipod on 1.1.2, you must first factory restore to 1.1.1, afterwards visit jailbreakme.com(on safari on your ipod) next install appsnapp. Next, you must restart your ipod, then be in motion in installer, rejuvenate sources and update installer (if needed). Refresh the sources by going in :sources: afterwards tap animate. Then go within all packages and install OktoPrep. Dont install anything else! Then restart your ipod. Next, run in itunes and click UPDATE not restore while holding shift. later locate the 1.1.2 firmware on your computer (if you don<t have it email me). Click stretch out and let itunes do its entry (make sure you have itunes 7.6). Then whaen everything is done (you are on firmware 1.1.2) (it is everyday that you do not have installer at this point). Next open out the jailbreak 1.1.2 folder ( if you do not have it email me) and click window.bat (if you have windows) (email me if you own a mac). Accept all and see ssh when prompted. Follow the on-screen instructions then reboot your ipod and you will hold a jailbroken 1.1.2! (with installer). If you then want to jailbreak 1.1.3 and procure the apps, refresh sources, udate to the up-to-the-minute version of installer and later intall in writ BSD Subsystem 2.0 or higher, OpenSSH, and services. Refresh sources a couple of times to gain services, if you dont find it then it is not nessecary. Then restart your ipod.
