Ipod? Data Mode?? My sister hooked up my ipod to my car

My sister hooked up my ipod to my car adapter and later noticed that the adapter have something sticky and wet on it. There be a fizzle sound and later the ipod went into "facts mode"....what does this mean? Is it ruined? How do I repair it?

Try to sync it back beside Itunes. And stop pleasuring yourself in the vehicle, with the sole purpose jerks do that surrounded by places everyone has to use. Plug it into your computer after wipe the USB terminal with a dry, soft cloth to remove any of the stuff that may be disappeared on it. This should unlock it.

If not, try the steps in the query above but (unless different on the new ipod) you call for to flick the "hold" switch on and off earlier holding down the centre and "menu" key for at least 10 second for it to reset. You should see the apple logo appear on screen if it be successful.

As far as data mode is concerned, this is nil to worry give or take a few, it just money that the free space (i.e. not used by music) on the ipod can be used for storing files on. You can efficiently disable this from the ipod menus.
find rid of the adaptor(it is probably covered in bitter fluid) . If the iPod is frozen hold the menu and middle button together for a while, this will reset it.

hope it works, : )
sticky and drizzling things stuck into your iPod is probably not good at adjectives. Data mode might mean that it is on a "undamaging mode" I would call Mac and see if you can ask them if they can repair iPods. If you bought it smaller number than a year ago you might still have warranty on it, and they can probably repair it for free.
