I havent used my iPod in a long and it be out of battery when i a short time ago picked it up a little while ago. So i plugged it into my computer and it works except the backlight is not going on. Can this a moment ago be a result of the lack of charge?

Go to key screen....Settings....Backlight Timer...however abundant seconds
If doesnt work get hold of an wall charger
could also be the settings....have you restored it to the factory setting? You can also coppers the backlight setting from the ipod in the menu convert the back standard lamp settings
